The origins of the Dallaway name intrigued me for years, and resulted in research that has led to correspondence with many other Dallaways around the world. It's been a slow process because there's' so much else in life to do!
I'm Trustee of two Advocacy Charities in Bromley and Greenwich, business mentor and Import Advisor with the Princes Trust , I write fiction, ( + doing a degree in fiction writing with the Open Uni ), and also practice silversmithing, ( previously Purchasing Manager with Home Retail Group ( Argos & Homebase ), while partner Briony is head of a primary school, and a London leader of Education, son Richard is learning how to run a pub, daughter Alexia with Kingston Uni recruiting overseas post grad students, though home at the moment with her newly arrived son Beck, and daughter Kenna is doing her A levels.
Other interests include Reiki, walking, gardening, Archery, regularly visiting Sark, Tobago, and now Levi for skiing..somewhere in there is built time to visit a few favourite restaurants, ( Chapter One & Two, the RSJ & Cafe du Marche ), plus a great pub ( The Wheatsheaf Bough Beech ), and listening to music that varies from Haydn's piano trios to Meatloaf & Queen and many jazz pieces.
