The 1851 census shows that the occupants were:
David Dallaway age 48 Farmer, his wife Philadelphia age 36
Daughters Betsy age 12, Sophia age 15,
Mary age 4 and Hannah age 3 months,
and sons Benjamin age 10 and Daniel age 7
brother David Dallaway age 42 a farm assistant was also there.
