The Dallaway Crests The original Dallaway crest, on the left was bestowed on James Dallaway in the Late 1500's for services to the King in compiling various histories. The second is a combination of Dallaway and Hopton achieved when James married Mary Hopton in 1600.
The motto means "Take note of their manners"
